Chemical modification of polymers, block and graft polymerization. Anionic
polymerization. Ring opening polymerization of episulfides and epoxides.
Polymeric reagents. Borane supported polymers. Chemical modification of
polyethylene tephthalate (PET) by in situ polymerization of vinyl monomers
using conventional and plasma polymerization techniques. Chemical
modification of cellulosic fibers and films. Polymers for electronic
devices, synthesis and application of electroluminescence and
photoluminescence polymers.
