New international master’s program at Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University has launched a new international master’s program, International Business Law and Intellectual Property. The one-year, English-language program is offered to law school graduates from Israel and abroad, in cooperation with the Hebrew University's Rothberg International School.
Instructors are experts in areas such as intellectual property law, international taxation, international trade, law and economics, international law and EU law. Guest lecturers from Israel and abroad specialize in international business, antitrust law, the Internet, international real estate law, international investments and international arbitration.
The Program offers a rich and advanced course of study in human rights and international law, fields that constitute an important part of the Hebrew University's reputation of academic excellence, and in which the University is a hub of international activity.
''International business and intellectual property law, which are at the heart of the global economy and essential to the Israeli hi-tech industry, are at the forefront of the Faculty of Law's research and teaching,'' said Prof. Yuval Shany, Dean of the Faculty of Law. ''The Faculty of Law is already considered a world leader and we are working hard to make it a center of international excellence in research and teaching.''
Also launching this year is a new international master’s program offered by the Hebrew University's Faculty of Dental Medicine. The two-year program, Bio-Medical Sciences in Dental Medicine, is offered in English and run in cooperation with the Rothberg International School.
